This special pediatric model’s 1” chest piece provides a narrower sound focus than the Classic stethoscope, allowing for more accurate acoustics and diagnostics. The floating diaphragm allows you to hear higher frequency tones, while the 1” bell allows users to hear lower frequency sounds.
The patented, snap-tight technology and soft-seal ear tips on this non-electronic, Littmann infant stethoscope are angled to meet the path of the ear canal, providing an excellent acoustic seal. This is because Littman knows how important it is to hear accurately the first time. This stethoscope also provides more comfort for you than cheaper stethoscopes with rigid earpieces.

The biggest difference between the 3M Littmann Pediatric II Infant 28” and the Littmann infant stethoscope is the size of the chest piece. The small ¾” chest piece on this infant version gives you a narrower sound focus for more accurate assessment and diagnosis.
Just like the pediatric version, the non-chill bell rim allows for greater comfort for infants and neonatal patients. The double-sided chest piece has the traditional bell on one side and a floating diaphragm on the other. As with Littmann’s other models, the soft-seal ear tips ensure that you can block out other sounds and concentrate on the sounds coming from your little patient. Angled to meet the path of the ear canal, Littmann’s patented ear tips not only give an excellent acoustic seal, they are more comfortable and easy to use.
